This landmark weather vane reflects the previous use of the building as the Pilotage Authority office. The giant trawler circled by fish is encircled by flying fish and is animated by windpower.

The copper & steel weathervane situated on the roof of Woods Brasserie was created by Andy Hazell in 1997. It depicts the previous use of the building as a Pilotage Office.
There are no N,S,E,W, directions on the Vane itself but it does appear to link to a compass on the front of the building.
