Crooked Feather in Ocean Springs, MS - Outside Wooden Display Carvings on Waymarking.com

This is a great looking thirty foot sculpture depicting Ocean Springs's original colony of the American Indian. It is carved from a cypress log 5-feet wide by 11-feet high. The current carving was done by local sculpture, Thomas King in 1999, replacing the original sculpture created in the 1940's by Hungarian artist Peter Toth! Stop and take a look at this famous sculpture! Crooked feather stands tall even today - surviving Hurricane Katrina!
