For the preservation of this locality, collection or picking is prohibited.

After obtaining the Theodore Marsh property, the Forest Preserve District of Will County went about restoring the wetland to a more natural state.

A wonderful side benefit is a field of wildflowers about one-half mile long of along the bike trail that parallels the busy Theodore Road.

The mid-summer blooming for this listing consists of mostly Yellow Coneflower and Queen Anne's Lace. I also believe I see a few Black Eyed Susans intermixed with the Yellow Coneflower, too.
Species:
Yellow Coneflower (Ratibida pinnata) Queen Anne's Lace (Daucus carota) Black-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia hirta) may be there, too
