This benchmark can be reached by a short walk akong the trail from the Mt. Mansfield Toll Road parking Lot near the summit. From the parking lot, walk north following the Mt. Mansfield Summit trail. In .2 miles the trail will pass close to a radio/TV tower. The "PATCH" Benchmark is closest to the tower. 20 ft or so west of "PATCH" is the benchmark stamped "POLICE".
