The Cindy Lyn Motel and its googie-style sign has been around for decades, and according to hotel review sites it's still a good place to stay. It's located on what was route 66 in Cicero, IL.

The Cindy Lyn Motel has been around for decades, and according to hotel review sites it's still a good place to stay. It's located on Ogden Avenue - it was originally route 66 - in Cicero, IL. We passed by Cindy's on the way out of Chicago as we headed back towards Wyoming. Ogden Avenue was a hodge podge of strip malls and great old buildings from the mother road's heyday, and I wish we had more time to explore some of the older spots we saw along the way.
