Observation Post Hangingstone Hill - Dartmoor Granite on Waymarking.com

There are only 7 remaining observation posts on the Okehampton range, there used to be 23, some of the others have been removed as they were made redundant. The purpose of the OP’s is for the military personnel to observe the live firing. They are made from granite stone and turf the modern ones are lined with steel.
This OP has been destroyed probably blown up.
