The Dartmoor Gliding Society is situated near Brentor. The gliders are pulled by a large winch along a grass runway.
The above co-ordinates are for the main entrance. If you would like to get a closer look, go a few yards down the road to a gate N50.35.459 W004.09.078 this gate is the entrance to open access land.
Walk up the path to a viewpoint N50.35.528 W004.08.818
If you wish to walk around to the other side of the runway go to the gate on N50.35.339 W004.08.585 and head through the gorse and trees towards N50.35.398 W004.08.412 this is the east side of the runway. from here just follow the fence around. When you leave you will have to leave the same way you came in.
