'The Devil's Monument'

is part of 'Cape Chin' on the Bruce Peninsula, a stack formed about 5500 years ago by glacial Lake Nipissing, an ancestor of Lake Huron, with the lookout consisting of a 12-ft railing with stone pillar structures and an interpretative cairn for the 'Devil's Monument' feature on the Bruce Trail.
There is also a bench with an outstanding view of the Escarpment shoreline, the waters of 'Georgian Bay' and the pinnacle of rock known as the 'Devil's Monument' is available from this location. The site of the lookout and cairn is a natural viewing platform.

Display sign overlooking the 'Monument'

View of the top of the monument and 'Georgian Bay'. There is also a small waterfall at the base of the vase shaped stack.
