I remember going to this Subway in 1976 or 1977. I was surprised that it was still there. If you look at the subway history web page (
visit link) about half way down is a picture of this location, back in the day.
Located at 1 River St., Milford CT 06460, it sits at the east end of Milford's green, its not too far to the worldwide headquarters.
Like most of my waymarks, I didn't take a lot of pictures. I hope subsequent visitors take them too. Typical small subway layout. Outside walls lined with table and those yellow formica benches.
If you stop, in ask how Freds doin'. In thirty years, he's grown from this store and is now (June 2007) worth an estimated 1.9 BILLION.
