This large and complex memorial is something you'd expect to see in a much larger town. It was built after firefighters Jacob Cook, age 23, and Robert Henderson, age 38 were killed in an explosion while fighting a residential fire.
The memorial consists of name plaques for the these two men and a third firefighter who was electrocuted in 1988 during a rescue attempt. There is a bell in front of the stone monument and three flags behind it at half mast. There is also a plaque with the fireman's prayer on it.
