Europa Park is the largest amusement park in Germany in term of frequentation with nearly 4 million visitors per annum (including 3.5 million in estival season).
It is to 20 km of Freiburg and approximately 50 km of Strasbourg, more precisely in the commune of Rust.
Created by the Mack family, the park opened its doors on July 12, 1975. It was in the beginning a small park holding on a few hectares and was used as window for the company of creation of attractions Mack Rides. With the passing of years, it packed new attractions and increased to become today the first world seasonal park and better European park of leisures.
The theme of this park is "Europe". So it is divided into 12 districts, each one representing a country.
