I traveled The Oregon Trail with an Elderhostel group from Kansas City/Independence, Missouri to Oregon City, Oregon June 13-28, 2007. On Sunday, June 17, we stopped at The Great Platte River Road Archway Monument in Kearney, Nebraska.

The pedestrian bridge was located across the road from The Great Platte River Road Archway Monument. It was built in 1914 by The Canton Bridge Co. Builders in Canton, Ohio.
