Cullinan
is a small quaint town who's claim to fame is the discovery of the 3 106 carat
Cullinan
Diamond in 1905. The town has a small population, most of whom are still in the
mining industry or in the growing tourism industry of the area. Cullinan is named after Sir Thomas Cullinan who originally bought the land shortly after the Boer war for a mere sum of only £52,000.
