Peter-The Hornet drove past the sign a couple weeks ago and took the photo. Unfortunately, as you can see, the foliage has partially obscured the sign but it still looks very attractive. The sign is located on the side of a private farmhouse in the hamlet of Woonton, Herefordshire.

Woonton is surrounded by villages on the Black and White Trail. Eardisley, Pembridge, Weobley, Dilwyn, Eardisland and Kingsland are filled with Black and White timber framed houses and buildings. It is almost like stepping back into a bygone age.

Instructions for logging waymark: A photograph is required of you (or your GPS receiver, if you are waymarking solo) and the sign.

Visit Instructions:
To claim this log: Only the first person/group/team to log each sign can claim it.
Your close up photograph must clearly show what is written on the sign.
We have claimed the Hawkesbury Upton sign. We know of 6 others throughout England.

We will also accept other circular AA signs of this type such as those celebrating the centre line of totality of the 1927 solar eclipse (we know there is at least one of these waiting to be claimed).
