There is a plaque on this bridge which says:
Vigo Bridge
Built in 1773 and by local tradition named to commemorate Sir Francis Drake’s maritime exploits at the naval port of Vigo on the North West coast of Spain.
It is not possible to see the bridge from the side, only the top.
