This is Bangladesh's largest airport and is located approximately 12 km from Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh.

With not a single geocache in Bangladesh, it was time to turn to Waymarking. My entry into Bangladesh was on Sunday 10 June 2007 and so the airport was the first port of call in relation to caching. The airport lies to the north of the city of Dhaka and services many international and domestic airlines including Air India, British Airways, Malaysian Airlines, Emirates, Singapore Airlines and among others. It is also the home base of the local Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
Thanks for providing this waymark and the opportunity to "cache" in an otherwise barren country Air Traffic Controllers.
