Description: George Leybourne was one of the most important stars of the early flowering of English Music-Hall. Many of his hit songs "Champagne Charlie", "The Daring Young Man on the Flying Trapeze" are still familiar today. His son-in-law Albert Chevalier was a major star in his own right, albeit at a later period. Albert lived late enough to leave sound and film recordings of his performances.
