This 19 ton South Dakota mahogany granite sculpture of the plains buffalo, by Darold Bailey, 1999, rests in the Falls Park near the walking bridge that crosses the Big Sioux River right below the big Sioux Falls. The coordinates were taken by me as I was sitting on the base of the sculpture as my husband took my picture. It is a dynamic sculpture of native South Dakota granite that is breathtaking.
