Many Hands Make A Home
Residential construction abounds in the Valley of the Sun and this new permanent exhibition offers an in-depth look at the process of creating a house, start to finish. It highlights the many people who collaborate in the homebuilding process. Hands-on exhibits exploring electricity, plumbing, carpentry, design, and project management will invite visitors to learn more about home construction. The exhibition is located on the 1st floor of the Center in the Freeman Gallery.
All About You
Located in the Steele Gallery
Both mind and body are the subjects of this gallery devoted to human life. Learn about the physiology of moving, the mechanisms of healing, patterns of learning and remembering, and new biotechnologies.
Wired For Thought
Located in the New Expansion Gallery
Beginning with a section of general information of how contemporary science views the brain, the exhibition is organized into three key periods of development - the Early Childhood Brain, the Teenage Brain and the Adult/Aging Brain. Each of these areas presents visitors with the opportunity to engage in activities based directly on, or related to, experiments scientists use to study and understand the brain.

Explore three basic forces: gravity, friction and magnetism. Experiment with physics using balls, marbles, gyroscopes, paper airplanes and more.
