for three years and was later to gain widespread fame as an architect
and author of builders' guides.
Original clock by Stephen Hasham 1817
Update 3 Feb 2009: The Stephen Hasham clock was taken out of the church in 1932, and a Seth Thomas clock installed in its place.
The Hasham clock is now in a private collection.
