Not many details have been released about this accident since they're still getting everything cleaned up as of this writing. Basically, about 4am on May 29, 2007, about 24 cars from a southbound train derailed at the crossing on Radnor Rd. outside of Radnor, Ohio. Nobody was hurt as the engines were well past the crossing when the cars came off the tracks. The train was carrying double stacked semi-trailers which were loaded with office furniture. Authorities have not been able to investigate whether one of the cars basically broke, or if the rails were misaligned.
In addition to a headline store in The Delaware Gazette, which I've scanned here, you can also find this article at the Columbus Dispatch, and 10tv News.
The pictures I've taken to include here aren't that great since the road is closed at this time and I couldn't get very near to the accident. Luckily I had coordinates for this spot since I had referred a friend to the boat storage right at this crossing earlier in the year...luckily for him, he passed on storing his boat here.
