Trones golf course was first established as a 6-hole course which opened in autumn 1993. From 1996 the course have been extended due to the growth in members.
In 1999 the work with today's 9-hole started, and the course opened as a 9-hole course on June 12th 2001. The construction of the last 9-hole is ongoing. The course is a combined park/wood course.
