CASUAL ICE RENTAL
They are an 8-sheet facility.
Ice is available from September to the end of April.
Rates:
Practice Ice - $10(includes g.s.t.) per person per hour. Shareholders will be allowed to book practice ice 1 week in advance, with non-shareholders and other people booking only 3 days in advance. At the descretion of management a fee may be charge for no-shows. Practice ice for a curler in any league of the Calgary Curling Club is free. Non-members are $10.00 per person per hour.
Ice Rental - $88.83(includes g.s.t.) per sheet for 2 hours. Equipment rental is extra(broom & slider rental - $5.30 per person).
A deposit of 25% of rental fee or $100(whichever is less) is required at time of booking for 2 hour periords with no refund if cancellation is within 7 days prior to event. Deposit will be deducted from total fee. Fees are to be paid the day of event.
Guidelines:
Footwear - MUST carry clean footwear (runners) to the club.
Must check in with the office or ice staff before going on the ice to determine which sheets are to be used.
Ice bookings are for 1 or 2 hours, etc. Ice must be vacated at the completion of this time to allow ice staff to prepare for the following booking.
Hacks - Please ensure that the hacks (rubber foot holds) are protected from rocks banging into them.
Rocks - At the completion of your ice time rocks should be placed in numerical order by color 1-8 from the backboards.
Care of Ice - Rocks must be slid out of corners to hack position to prepare for delivery. At NO TIME are rocks to be carried
