Prairie Meadows Racetrack has become one of mid-Americas must-visit locations. The Track is a one mile dirt track. It sponsors throughbred raceing from April to October. In July, it becomes a mixed track for both throughbred and quarter horse racing.

The racetrack had a large expansion in 2004. A casino with 1750 slot machines and casino game tables were added. In 2007, a 1200-seat concert hall was added. Nearby is Adventureland Amusement Park.
