History & Background
I called the post office the next day from home and talked with one of their workers on the phone for about 30 minutes trying to decipher the history of this place. He said the structure was ancient but then said the picture on his wall of the original post office showed a slightly different location. We were able to ascertain it has stood ther since the 50's which of course is not so ancient. I discovered a list of postmaters dating back to 1974 but beyond that I could find no further information. Lacking a website or an authority, this is the best I could do.
