A mining town developed for the workers of Eagle Mine. It was occupied for almost 100 years. The views from here are amazing both across the valley, and down the cliff to mining buildings directly below.
The town had its own school, grocery store, and bowling alley. It was evacuated in 1984 due to toxins in the water from the mining activity.
