This windmill was purchased in about 1910 to provide water to Thomas Patton and the surrounding community for nearly 78 years.
The tall steel structure is a "Dempster Annuoil #12 model". The windmill was originally on Pump Hill and was moved to its present location at Fort Calgary in 2002.
