1988 firades 100 – årsminnet av Dan Andersson födelse. Minnesåret inleddes på årsdagen den 6 april med avtäckning av en byst av Dan Andersson. Bysten finns i Kyrkparken i Ludvika. Skulptörens namn är Olof Hjort, årsbarn och vän till Dan Andersson.
