A truck in perhaps surprisingly good shape sitting on the north side of Mill Pond in Burlington, Massachusetts.

The Mill Pond Reservoir is host to a number of geocaches, as well as miles of trails. This truck lies along one of these trails, most easily accessible by entering the area via a trail off Chandler Road.
The truck itself is rusted out, with large chunks of the engine still in the chassis. Oddly enough, the truck does not seem to have crashed — it is unclear as to why it was abandoned here in the woods. "BURLINGTON" is stenciled faintly on the doors, so it may have been a city vehicle at one point. Two of the tires are still on the car, and the steering wheel and shifter are still present. The back end of the car is in worse shape than the front, but there are parts on the car that probably could be put to some vague degree of use.
Inside the cab of the truck, where the drivers left knee would be, is a manufacturer's plaque with information. It indicates it is an "International Motor Truck" made by the "International Harvester Company" of Chicago, Illinois (which is still around today as a major truck manufacturer, recently having changed their name to Navistar International). It indicates it is a L-120 model with a SD-220 engine, chassis serial number 1110, engine serial number 3194. This would place it as a 1950–1952 vehicle, as far as I can tell.
