The fountain is in the garden of Holker Hall next to a Monkey Puzzle tree, surrounded by large rhododendrons. Entrance fee.

The cascade is flanked at its base by two limestone obelisks, climbs through rhododendrons and evergreen oak leaves to reach the 17th century marble statue of Neptune. The water flowing over the inlaid zigzag slate pattern is a natural flow from a network of underground streams.

Car Parking.
Holker Hall has its own car park. There may be a parking charge on event days. Free parking in Cark village, 15 minutes walk.
