This is one of the newest Wal-Mart stores in the area, as of this writing. It was originally located less than a mile east of its current location, but they decided they needed a bigger store, and abandoned the old one rather than add on to it. This Wal-Mart has spurred some growth in the area with a few strip malls going in near it, along with a new Best Buy and Home Depot as well.
