This location is now over 30 years old having been relocated from its former location on Oak Street (first opened October 23, 1975). Originally staffed by volunteers this hall has a full complement of staff personnel and paramedics.

Staffing
Our Emergency Services staff serve 80,232 residents (as of the May 2005 Census) and major industries in both rural and urban areas. The County's area of 1,265 square kilometres includes the urban centre of Sherwood Park and a surrounding rural area with rural hamlets, acreage developments, farms and other holdings.

The Management Team is made up of four Chief Officers:

The Fire Chief
Deputy Chief - Operations
Deputy Chief - Finance and Human Resources
Deputy Chief - Planning and Logistics
There are three members of the Administrative Support Staff.

The Operations Division is made up of four Platoons:

There are four Platoon Chiefs and 80 Fire Fighter/EMTs and Fire Fighter/Paramedics. They work full-time from three stations:

Station #5

They are supported by approximately 60 part-time Firefighter/First Responders who work from two stations:

Station #3
The Communications Branch is made up of a Communications Officer, eight full-time Communications Operators and four part-time Communications Operators.

The Fire Prevention and Investigation Branch is made up of a Fire Marshal, a Captain - Fire Prevention & Investigation (new) and 20 Part Time Public Educators.

The Training Branch is made up of a Division Chief of Occupational Health, Safety and Training.
