At the bus and ferry terminal in Torshavn is a large sign on the roof of the building.
It says: Welcome in Torshavn.
A silhouette of all the important buidings or structures in town is shown on the sign.
In the green border around the sign is the word welcome written in different languages.
In white there is also slogan: Virkin og Vakin and that translates to active and awake.
So come see for your self if this is true.
