Old arched stone bridge from the harbor to Paphos Castle.

The bridge is about 20 meters long and 1.5 meters wide and is built of hewn stones of various sizes. The bridge has two arches.
As something special, the bridge is slanted, it is lowest on the harbor side and rises 1 meter towards the castle.

Paphos Castle is located at the western end of the city's harbour. It was originally part of a Byzantine fortress that was destroyed by an earthquake in 1222. It was rebuilt and expanded in the 13th century.
In 1592 the buildings were restored by the Ottomans and the bridge is believed to have been built in the same context.
