Built in 1912 by the Pioneer Bridge Company, this single span pony truss bridge crosses the North Branch of 12 Mile Creek in Baker Township, Davison County, South Dakota. It was posted to the National Register of Historic Places on December 9, 1993, NRHP 93001283, SD 18-060-202. It is scheduled to be removed and relocated to the City of Mitchell, South Dakota, to be used as part of the City's bike/pedestrian trail system. On March 18, 2007, the bridge was no longer passable - high water from recent snow melt washed behind the north concrete abutment moving it southward. You can see part of the collapse behind the abutment in the photos - a fair sized sink hole. The location is on 400th Avenue, 9 mi. west and 10.2 mi. south of Mitchell, SD, in Baker Township
