Genesis Aphrodite's Trail is a hiking route with many beautiful viewpoints, including the rocks that are called Aphrodite's birthplace. Another beautiful place is the white cliffs by the sea.
The hiking route starts at Prolimno's dog beach and ends in the small village of Octovriou. The route itself is not long, only 4.5 km, but it is still quite tiring to walk as the ground on the footpath is loose stones and pieces of rock. At the same time, it starts with a slightly strenuous climb of 300 metres. There is no shade, so you walk in the blazing sun.
The slightly strenuous hike is still recommended because of the beautiful views over the sea and the mountains.
