Scenic boat trip on Achensee with one of the 3 tour boats. Lake Achensee is the largest lake in Tirol and enjoys a fabulous location nestled between the Karwendel and Rofan Mountains. Due to the beauty of the place, it is an unforgettable experience.
A round trip where the boat also sails to 6 jetties takes two hours.
It is possible to sit both indoors and outdoors and a small cafe sells drinks.
Achensee shipping has existed since 1887 and was founded by the abbot of Fiecht monastery, Albert Wildauer. He was also a sea captain and took out a large loan to get a ship built. Since the first steam ship, the fleet has been replaced several times and now consists of 3 tour boats.
