The library in Fuglafjørður is housed in a former school building from 1882. There is one librarian employed who is responsible for the entire library.
In addition to the lending of books, films and other material, there are also various events for children with music and storytelling.
The library is a good meeting point for the village and the surrounding area.

A tourist information center has been set up in an extension to the library.
