This wasterwater treatment facility is for cleaning the used water of the citizens of Beaufort and Haller. Two towns in Luxemburg having about 6000 citizens. Based on this value, the capacity is specified by an habitant equivalent of 6600 making up to 118800 l/day. After mechanical cleaning of water it is collected in two basins for biological cleaning by microorganisms. After cleaning the water in these two stages, it flows back to the river nearby. The resulting sludge is used for procusing biogas, in agriculture or other purposes.
