The Fallen Cross is a monumental sculpture by Bahian artist Mário Cravo Júnior inaugurated in 1999 as a symbol of late repentance for demolishing the Sé Church in order to facilitate public transportation.
The sculpture is made of stainless steel and is 12 meters high.
