With this stones on floor there is the Coat of the city and council with black stones on background.
It is in front of the Convent of the Slaves, often covered with cars.

"The coat of arms of Cuenca has the following heraldic description:

On a field of gules (red), a golden chalice surmounted by a silver eight-pointed star. To the bell, an ancient royal crown, open, composed of a gold circle set with precious stones holding eight fleurons, five visible, interpolated with pearls.
The shield alludes to the reconquest of the city by Alfonso VIII in 1177, the star symbolizes the beginning of the siege that took place on January 6, Epiphany day, and the chalice of St. Matthew the Evangelist the capture of the city that took place on September 21, the day on which the feast of this saint is celebrated.

Currently, the City Council uses a stylized version of the traditional coat of arms, probably far from the traditional heraldic conventions."
