[ENG] The church was designed by Warsaw architect Andrzej Markowski. It is modeled on the Hagia Sophia in Constantinople. Its architecture is intended to remind us of the roots of Orthodoxy. The structure is 36.9 m long, 30 m wide, and its height (including the central dome with a diameter of 16.2 m, which is covered with copper) is 21.6 m. The height of the temple was influenced by the regulations regarding buildings located on the approach route to land at Chopin Airport. An isosceles cross, typical of Byzantium, was placed on the dome. The façade was covered with Szydlowiec sandstone. The walls will be decorated with mosaics and frescoes. The temple will have two altars - a side altar dedicated to St. Martyr Panteleimon. The bell tower will be equipped with 10 bells. According to Orthodox tradition, the main entrance is located on the west side, and two side entrances - on the north and south.

[POL] Cerkiew zostala zaprojektowana przez warszawskiego architekta Andrzeja Markowskiego. Jest wzorowana na konstantynopolitanskiej swiatyni Hagia Sophia. Jej architektura ma przypominac o korzeniach prawoslawia. Obiekt ma 36,9 m dlugosci, 30 m szerokosci, natomiast wysokosc (lacznie z centralna kopula o srednicy 16,2 m, która zostala pokryta miedzia) wynosi 21,6 m. Na wysokosc swiatyni mialy wplyw przepisy dotyczace budynków znajdujacych sie na trasie podchodzenia do ladowania na Lotnisku Chopina. Na kopule umieszczono równoramienny krzyz, charakterystyczny dla Bizancjum. Elewacje oblozono piaskowcem szydlowieckim. Sciany zostana ozdobione mozaikami i freskami. Swiatynia bedzie posiadala dwa oltarze – boczny pod wezwaniem sw. Meczennika Pantelejmona. Dzwonnica zostanie wyposazona w 10 dzwonów. Zgodnie z prawoslawna tradycja glówne wejscie znajduje sie od strony zachodniej, a dwa boczne – od pólnocnej i poludniowej.
