The Serbian Orthodox Church is located at Cedergatan 4 in Hyllie. Unfortunately, there is not much information to be found about this Orthodox church.
The establishment of the church is presumably in 2001. At first glance, it appears that the church's current appearance was built around 2019. On the church's website, you can see a lot of pictures of the rebuilding, as well as pictures of building permits issued by Malmö municipality. But unfortunately no year. (

The church has been rebuilt in red brick, where there were previously white wooden buildings. A dome with a copper roof has been built. At the top there is a cross.
The church entrance is very impressive. Above the entrance is written in large letters: "Serbian Ortodoxa Kyrkan". And at the top you can see a large mosaic with a religious motif, just as there are also two mosaics and columns on each side of the decorative door.
Also on the side of the church there is a mosaic and a curved roof structure.
The presence of Serbian Orthodox in Denmark and Sweden is connected with the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the subsequent civil war in the former Yugoslavia. Among the refugees who came to Denmark and Sweden around 1995, a larger group of Orthodox came from Serbia. The Serbian Orthodox were of such a size that they formed an independent congregation where the service takes place in Serbian.
