Hours before President Bush's visit to Sao Paulo, students, union members and peasnts took to Sao Paulo's biggest avenue Paulista. The avenue, in the heart of the financial district, is Sao Paulo's most famous.
When fringe group had a sit-down in lanes that were not for the protest, military police moved in. A fight occured with rocks and stick thrown at police. In the end 4 people were hurt.
