In 1709 kreeg Enter een protestantse kerk.
De klokkentoren van kerk heeft een bijzondere vorm, het is vierkante een houten constructie, belegd met leien gebouwd op een eenvoudige stenen kerk.
De kerk en de toren lijken niet bij elkaar te passen, misschien is de toren later op de kerk gebouwd.
Boven op de toren staat een soort gouden tulpenbol en daaruit een ijzeren stang met een windrichtingspijl de stang loopt door en daarboven op staat nog een haan.
De hervormde protestantse kerk aan de Dorpsstraat herbergt een bijzondere, oude kerkklok uit 1312. De klok zou gegoten zijn door de rondreizende monnik Nicolaus en is voorzien van diagonale krassen om kwade geesten weg te leiden. Tot 1846 hingen de kerkklokken van de hervormde kerk in de lindebomen rondom, maar toen deze aan vervanging toe waren werd de huidige klok uit 1312 overgenomen van een kerk uit het Friese Jutrijp. In de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd de klok door de Duitsers gevorderd, maar in 1946 kwam hij terug naar Enter. De klok is voorzien van een voorstelling van een slang die in zijn eigen staart bijt, symbool voor eeuwigheid en oneindigheid."

In 1709 Enter got a Protestant church.
The bell tower of the church has a special shape, it is a square wooden construction covered with slates built on a simple stone church.
The church and the tower do not seem to match each other, perhaps the tower was built later on the church.
On top of the tower there is a kind of golden tulip bulb and from it an iron rod with a wind direction arrow, the rod continues and on top of it there is a rooster.
Sadly there is not much information about this church on internet.
"The reformed Protestant church on Dorpsstraat houses a special old church bell from 1312. The bell is said to have been cast by the traveling monk Nicolaus and has diagonal scratches to guide evil spirits away. Until 1846, the church bells of the reformed church hung in the lime trees around, but when they needed to be replaced, the current bell from 1312 was taken over from a church in Jutrijp, Friesland. During the Second World War the clock was requisitioned by the Germans, but it returned to Enter in 1946. The clock features a representation of a snake biting its own tail, a symbol of eternity and infinity."
