[PL] Necko, malownicze jezioro w Augustowie, na terenie województwa podlaskiego, nalezy do kategorii polodowcowych jezior rynnowych. Jego linia brzegowa jest dosyc rozbudowana, glównie otoczona lasem (70%), wystepuja tu tez piaszczyste plaze. Na pólnocy laczy sie z jeziorem Rospuda Augustowska oraz z jeziorem Bialym poprzez rzeke Klonownica. Wplywa do niego rzeka Rospuda, natomiast wyplywa z niego rzeka Netta, która nastepnie przechodzi w Kanal Augustowski. Jezioro znajduje sie na Obszarze Chronionego Krajobrazu "Puszcza i Jeziora Augustowskie".

W Necko zyja róznorodne gatunki ryb, takie jak szczupak pospolity, okon, ploc, leszcz, sielawa i lin. Wsród ptaków mozna spotkac labedzia niemego oraz kaczke krzyzówke. Sposród bezkregowców wystepujacych w okolicach jeziora mozna wymienic raka blotnego, zyworódke pospolita oraz racicznice zmienna. Bogata flora jeziora obejmuje wiele gatunków roslin, takich jak rogatek sztywny, grazel zólty i trzcina zwyczajna.

[ENG] Necko, a picturesque lake in Augustów, in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, belongs to the category of post-glacial ribbon lakes. Its coastline is quite extensive, surrounded by forest (70%), and there are also beaches. To the north, it connects with Lake Rospuda Augustowska and with Lake Bialy through the Klonownica River. The Rospuda River flows into it, then the Netta River flows out of it, which then flows into the Augustów Canal. The lake is located in the Protected Landscape Area of ??the "Augustów Forest and Lakes".

In Necko there are fish species such as common pike, perch, roach, bream, vendace and tench. Among the birds you can meet a mute duck and a mallard. The invertebrates found around the lake can be replaced by the swamp crayfish, the common aviparous crayfish and the zebra mussel. The lake's rich flora includes many plant species, such as staghorn, yellow water lily and common reed.
