[EN] “Ornamental fountain located in a small square between the main axes of the El Capricho de la Alameda de Osuna park, declared an Artistic Garden in 1934, today an Asset of Cultural Interest as a Historical Garden.

The fountain was installed in this place, from one of the interior patios of the palace, between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, by the Bauer family who acquired possession in 1900 after the ruin of the last Duke of Osuna. The fountain is paired with another identical one, of which today only the cup is placed in the nearby Plaza del Esparragal. Both fountains were housed in the two twin courtyards of the palace.

It is known as the pearl necklace fountain due to the subtlety with which the water fell from the upper cup to the lower one due to overflow, through small drops that seemed to imitate a pearl necklace.”
