Voordat je het kleine dorpje Haarzuilens in komt staat er een poort.

Kom je via de Polderweg en de Ockhuizenweg het dorpje Haarzuilens in rijden dan rijd je onder deze poort door die aan het begin van het dorp staat.
De poort is gebouwd van staal in een open contructie, bovenaan de contructie hangt een bord met daarop de naam Haarzuilen en het wapen van de familie van Zuylen Nijeveld. Op de twee hoeken is zijn twee bordje aangebracht, links staat het woord Anno en rechts 1898
Op de staanders van de poort zijn aan beide kanten ook nog het heraldische wapen van de familie aangebracht.

If you enter the village of Haarzuilens via the Polderweg and the Ockhuizenweg, you drive under this gate at the beginning of the village.
The gate is built of steel in an open construction, at the top of the construction there is a sign with the name Haarzuilen and the coat of arms of the van Zuylen Nijeveld family. His second sign is placed on the two corners, the word Anno is on the left and 1898 on the right
The heraldic coat of arms of the family are also placed on the uprights of the gate on both sides.
