"«El Puente Nuevo» es el principal puente de la Villa de Potes y el único por el que actualmente circula trafico rodado a través de una carretera general. Auténtico viaducto que salva las aguas de un río Quiviesa que se acerca a su final desembocando unos metros más abajo en el río Deva y continuando su camino hacia el Desfiladero de la Hermida bajo el nombre de este último.

Sus dos extremos están situados en pleno centro neurálgico de Potes, un extremo junto a los «Soportales» y la calle «Cántabra» a la altura de la farmacia de «Soberón» en plena Plaza del Capitán Palacios y el extremo opuesto en la entrada al «Barrio del Sol» a la altura del edificio de Correos."

""The New Bridge" is the main bridge of the Town of Potes and the only one through which road traffic currently circulates through a general highway. An authentic viaduct that crosses the waters of a Quiviesa river that is approaching its end, emptying into some meters further down the Deva River and continuing its path towards the Desfiladero de la Hermida under the name of the latter.

Its two ends are located in the heart of Potes, one end next to the "Soportales" and "Cántabra" street at the height of the "Soberón" pharmacy in the Plaza del Capitán Palacios and the opposite end at the entrance to the "Barrio del Sol" at the height of the Post Office building."
