In 1715, Prince Stanislaw Potocki gave a plot of land in Lviv to the Jesuits, who founded the first industrial brewery.
After the dissolution of the order at the end of the 18th century, the brewery passed into private hands, and over time it was transformed into a joint-stock company.
In 2005, on the occasion of the 290th anniversary of the company's existence, the Brewery Museum was opened.
The total area of the museum is 2,000 square meters. Up to 500 people can stay on the premises at the same time.
The museum's collection includes over 200 exhibits, the oldest of which is the original brewing diploma from 1796.
On the second floor, exhibition visitors can immerse themselves in the beer brewing process and create their own type of beer. By looking under the lid of one vat you can see the beer production process, in the other, under the magnification of a microscope, you can see what it consists of.
On the third floor of the museum there is an art center and a business center.
The tour ends with a tasting of the brewery's products.
